🦮 Fiat 2.2 Multijet Engine Review
Fiat Ducato motorhome noise and smoke. Answered by Graham Smith · 6 June 2013. There are a number of possible explanations, from the turbocharger, to the fuel pump, and the injectors. Your dealer should be able to diagnose the problem, if not, take it to another dealer. If that also fails take it to a diesel engine specialist.
Jan 3, 2020. #1. 2015 2.3 150bhp Ducato which is a Euro 5+..I think. Now coming up to 5 years and has 50k miles on the clock. I'm confused about whether I need the cam belt changing this year or not. The service schedule in the manual says:- Replace toothed timing drive belt (*) (110 (º)- 130 - 150 )Multijet Versions) 120K miles or 96 months.
Currently complete original filter in housing can be found on ebay at under £60. If anyone is not confident to replace the element then a whole unit is a better bet as an element and the tool will cost you nearly as much. Last edited by a moderator: Dec 28, 2014. T.
May 26, 2013. #4. We have a Mohawk with the 150hp upgrade previous van was an AT Tracker with 130 engine the difference in power and torque delivery is very noticeable. Mohawk is 4250kg but far more sprightly, less gear changing and much more of a pleasure to drive not really run in yet at 1400 miles but mpg seems better averaging 24/25.

I don't know about the FIAT 2.3 JTD and which it is, but there are two types of engines generally - Interference and Non-Interference. If you have a non-interference engine, a belt failure is supposedly just an bit of an inconvenience. if Interference, you convert your engine into a bag of mangled parts if the belt fails.
