Guild Wars 2 might have more PvE presistent areas vs instanced, and if people are farming a creature those who are new or just reached it would miss out and unbalance the game experience. In my own suggestion page on my user page I suggest having creature herds moving due to seasons, to give a bit of life to areas.
Yes, all emotes in the game are account wide. And the makeover kit is just an item, you can store it in your bank or wherever no problem.
You can create custom emotes by typing /me, /emote, /em, or /e followed by a space and the text to display as an emote. There are no associated animations for custom emotes, and opponents in World vs World will not be notified of these in their chat logs, they will see " [ ] gestures." instead.

As stated before, using the newly obtained teal gauge will increase the red one. To avoid the automatic wall grab in order to land on small ledges, it's possible to move using only A, S or D, decreasing altitude with C if required. Using the dash at an angle will produce a similar result, it won't trigger the automatic grab even against a wall.

The emote part is more about convenience. Sometimes I wish I could just hit a button and my character would immediatly perform the attached emote. Since performing emotes would become more straightforward, the only counterpart I could think of is overloading the emote channel.
